Chandra R. Williams, M.D., F.A.A.P., is a Florida native, born and raised in Fort Lauderdale. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Spelman College in Atlanta, and her medical degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville. Dr. Williams then completed her residency training in Pediatrics at the University of Maryland Hospital in Baltimore and at Howard University/D.C. General Hospitals in Washington, DC.
Dr. Williams spent over 20 years in community pediatric health. She started at Total Health Care in Baltimore, Family Health Centers in Orangeburg, South Carolina. She has spent 15 years with Rural Health Services in Bradenton, Florida. From 2007 to 2009, she has worked with the family practice program affiliated with Sun Coast/Largo Medical Center in Largo, Florida, where she runs their pediatric office and oversees osteopathic family practice residents and third and fourth year osteopathic medical students.
She is very excited to come back to Bradenton and begin a private practice in East Bradenton. Dr. Williams has been married for 22 years to her husband, Clifton. They have two children: Elijsha, a student at Pinnacle Academy, a school that specializes in Autism and the Spectrum; and Jade, a recent graduate of Southeast High School.
